First Term Report

I am on my way to collect Daigan from school and today we get his report. It's the first report since he has been receiving counselling and on meds for his ADD. He is terribly excited as he has put a lot into his work and studies this term. I, on the other hand, am anxious that his report is not going to meet his expectations and that his whole little world is going to come crumbling down. I keep on getting tearful when I imagine how dissapointed he will be if the report does not match his dreams. ************************************************************I am officialy hereby crowned, crybaby of the year!!! I got Daigans report and promptly burst into tears!!! My child got not only one "4" - he GOT FIVE OF THE SUCKERS!!!! - and for the rest of his subjects he got "3"'s For those of you that don't know, 1 = Not achieved , 2=Partially Achieved, 3=Satisfactory Achievement and 4 = Outstanding Achievement - (you get the idea) you cannot go higher than a 4 at this grade. Not only that but the child who was failing maths last year scored 81% for it this term and he was called up in front of the class and got an award for best improved scholar !!
